Vehicle Description
2007 Harley Davidson Fat Boy
Since its debut in 1990, the Harley-Davidson Fat Boy has become one
of the company's most popular models. Designed by stylists Willie
G. Davidson and Louie Netz, the Fat Boy's defining characteristic
is its front and rear solid-cast disc wheels. The original Fat Boy
also featured the first use of shotgun exhausts and gently flared
fenders. The Fat Boy's curious name is said to come from the bike's
"massive presence", and that the name gave a link to the earlier
Harley-Davidson "Fat Bob" model.
This 2007 HD Fat Boy Model FLSTF in blue and chrome grew bigger,
broader and brighter for this year. Besides more power (a 1584CC
V-Twin), 6-speed Cruise Drive transmission and standard electronic
sequential port fuel Injection (ESPFI), the Fat Boy gets funkier
and flashier with a major upgrade to its already muscular profile.
Start at the back with a new 200mm rear tire and extra chopped rear
fender. A new two-up seat with laced triple bullet tank strap sits
behind a traditional Fat Bob fuel tank. The Fat Boy cuts a wide
path with a 17-inch front wheel, chrome front fork nacelle and
giant bare-knuckle risers and a fat custom internally-wired
handlebar. New Silver, Bullet Hole Disc Cast Aluminum wheels
complete the updated Fat Boy look. It's big, bad and truly
"Phat!"
