Original Stock LX convertible with 8,082 ORIGINAL DOCUMENTED MILES. Tough to find another one that's not modified. This car is in beautiful condition. Two years prior this color combination was known as the Seven Up edition. The engine and drivetrain is of course a 5.0 and manual 5 speed that drive like new, right off the showroom 27 years ago. That's the neat thing about having your dream car that has only 8k miles on it that no one has "messed" with or modified. This car really does run like new, it's tight and starts on the first try every time. I bought the car 7 years ago in 2012 with 7700 miles on it. The original tires were dry rotted and unfortunately unsafe. I put new Michellin tires (stock size and style as close to original as possible), bought a new Ford stock size battery. Paint and exterior is in excellent condition with only one small half inch scratch on the door that looks like it was dabbed with touch up paint 20 years ago. The interior is also in excellent condition with only the driver seat having some age cracks in the base of the leather seat. The car is near perfect but I'm trying to point out anything less than perfect. The only thing that I'm aware of that is not original is the head unit on the radio and 10 disk changer in the trunk. Both were likely changed in the mid 90's by the second owner. I am the forth owner. I have the original window sticker, lots of documentation from previous owners including an appraisal from 2007 which help tell the story of this rare, true low mileage collector car. This car has been driven about 50 miles a year and been stored under a cover in a heated garage on a trickle charger, well loved!
I'm interested in passing it along to someone that will truly appreciate it and keep this time capsule going for another 27 years.
