This 1935 Ford 3 window is likely one of the nicest coupes you will
ever see. Completely restored, and every aspect of the car finished
to perfection.
This '35 Coupe is well appointed with some nice options including a
dealer installed Columbia 2 speed differential. Where most factory
stock vehicles in the 1930's were capable of sustaining speeds of
45-50 miles per hour, the Columbia 2-speed allows for faster road
speed without the higher RPM.
Nothing was left untouched during the restoration of this Coupe.
The Coupe starts, runs and drives very nicely, even on the original
style bias ply tires. For all practical purposes, this particular 3
window is really a show car that you can drive.
The deep black base/coat, clear/coat paint is clean and smooth with
a subtle thin green pin-stripe running down both sides of the car,
just below the character line. Everything on the Coupe works. The
gauges, the lights, the wiper, the tube radio. The inside rear view
mirror has a Ford clock in it (a rare piece), the front windshield
tilts outward if desired, and the rear window will roll down.
Notice the little window shade that manually rolls up and down to
cover the inside rear window.
The Kelsey-Hays wheels are restored beautifully and there are 5
total including the spare. All of the mechanical components in the
coupe have been rebuilt and restored. All of the correct fabric
coated wiring has been utilized, the luggage rack is an original
piece, not a reproduction, and it's been restored.
Mid '30's Ford Coupes are always a great choice for a classic car,
but to find one this nice, and professionally restored is just a
bonus. Absolutely one of the finest available, anytime,
anywhere!
