Vehicle Description

ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS, VERY RARE AND DESIREABLE, 1960 PONTIAC BONNEVILLE CONVERTIBLE, FULLY RESTORED, TRI-POWER, READY TO SOW AND GO!!!

Allow me to intrduce you to "Big Bonnie", a stunning, frame-on restored beauty with a knock out body, elegant interior, smooth running Tri-power upgraded 400 V8 and nice list of options inculding the continental kit. This '60 Bonneville Convertible came out of a large car collection here in Georgia and is believed to have been restored about 12 years ago to a very nice level and has been extremely well cared for and maintained ever since. I will try to provide enough images, a video of the car running and an honest description to help you deicde if this work of automotive art should be in your garage. I am also a transport broker and can assist in getting you a great rate on enclosed transport anywhere in the country. I also welcome overseas buyers and can assist in getting the car to the port of your choice.

"Bonnie" is 19 ft long including her continental kit and she wears an eye-popping original color called Coronado Red. Her body is super straight with no signs of rust anywhere. Body panel gaps and fit are excellent. Oriignals bumpers were re-chromed and all of the stainless and chrome trim looks awesome. You have to love the amazoing styling cues found throughout from the distinctive "shark nose" front end to the double barrel tail lights molded in the rear quarter panels. All of the glass looks great including the gorgeous wrap around windshield. Lowered a bit and with the steel fender skirts, Bonnie has a style all her own. Overall, this Bonneville convertible is in amazing condition but not flalwess. Overall paint quality is excellent with just a few minor flaws in the paint from a buffer. She is still ready to show and is sure to please her next lucky owner. The off-white power convertible top works wonderfully and seals up nicely and is believed to have been replaced at time of resotration and a matching boot cover when the top is down. Check out the pics to see how nice the body is.

Fantastic tri-color matching red interior compliments the exterior beautifully. Front and rear seats look amazing with almost no sign of wear. Drivers seat is power and does work. The burgundy colored carpet is in overall very nice condition with some minor discoloration. Brand new set of matching carpeted floor mats were added. The focal point of the dash is the very rare NOS Pearl white steering wheel that looks close to new. The dash itself is drenched in matching body color paint with a well thought out assortment of gauges and controls. The dash looks amazing including the woodgrain trim, stainless bezel and passenger grab handle. Power windows all working. Original Am/fm radio is believed to be working correctly as well as the speed alert buzzer. A nice set of aftermarket gauges were neatly added under dash to provide more accurate readings of temperature, oil pressure and amps. The interior is a true work of art and in phenomenal condition.

1960 marked the second year of the "wide track" design creating amazing cornering for these big bodied cars. The Bonneville also rode on an x-braced chassis with with an unequal length A-arm front suspension and live rear axle. These cars are the ulitmate crusiers with a great combination of road comfrot and handling. Powering this 19ft long land yacht is an upgraded Pontiac 400 V8 believed to be putting out close to 400 horsepower and fuel is provided through the period correct tri-power intake topped with triple carburetors. Nicvely dressed out with a set of finned Offenhauser valve covers the engine bay is quite impressive and you wil be proud to pop the hood at the local shows and cruise-ins. Smooth shifting turbo hydramatic 400 transmission moves this beauty down the road and the power steering handles with ease. Power brakes were completely redone at time of resotation and stop true and straight. Nice tone from the dual exhaust. She runs nice and cool even on the hottest days aided by an electric fan in addition to the original clutch fan. She does ride a little lower than stock so take it easy on the speed bumps. Nice set of White line radials wrapped around hard to find stainless steel NOS tri-bar hub caps. This big bodied Bonneville is a joy to drive and draws all the attention you can imagine. Undercarriage is clean and solid and trunk is nice and solid with correct trunk mat. Continental kit functions properly to tilt the spare tire back when time to refuel. Some cool original dealer brochures, advertising and owners manual included. This '60 Convertible is ready to show and go!! be sure to watch the video to hear this beauty start up and running. I do have many more pics if needed.
