I purchased this car new in 1970 and 1980 rebuilt the original engine and sold it, put a 1978 fuel injected engine that I rebuilt, added an after market turbo, a Porsche 915 transmission, added steel flairs that were leaded and added the whale tail. In 2000 refurbished the dash and panel of instruments, camel leather interior, painted the car black, added the large wheels and tires and new brakes. This car has never been wrecked or set in the sun always in a garage. We reset the odometer back to zero and at that time had 81,000 miles on the body.
Six months ago I replaced the engine with a 5.7L/350ci L31 V-8,roller cam shaft, forged internals,9.4 comp ratio, carb 640CFM Holley race, MSD ignition and Edelbrook intake. This engine has 3000 miles. The reason for selling. I am old an have no one to give it too!
