XKE series Jaguar was an instant success from the moment it
appeared at the automotive seen in 1961! Featuring monocoque
construction, 4-wheel independent suspension & disc brakes, and
rack & pinion steering. As each new generation was improved from
the last, it continued to offer more and more to buyers as the
prestigious luxury sports car from England! This included improved
brakes, better suspension, superior interior comfort, more
significant cooling, and bigger displacement engines! The Series II
came about in 1968 with wrap around rear bumper, larger reposition
turn signals & tail lights, larger grill opening with twin electric
cooling fans for better cooling, open headlamps, redesigned toggle
switches on the dash, as well as twin Strombergs replacing the

way of southern Florida where is was on display at a dealership
lobby. Last purchased and owned by British Motor Car Distributors
LTD of Northern California,they would haveitfully restored inside
and out. More recently though,it was sent to West Palm Beach, FL to
be displayed and sold. Having sat on display for a few years being
driven infrequently, the car went to Jaguar/Aston Martin/McLaren
dealership of West Palm for servicing. This included a complete
comprehensive inspection and replacement of all ignition system
components including spark plugs, plug wires, & Lucas Gold coil,
fresh fluids & filters, rebuilt Stromberg carburetors, and draining
the fuel system for fresh fuel. This was completed at 21,759 miles.
Today, it shows only 22,008 miles on the odometer. A spectacular
