For Sale at Auction: 1969 Mercury Cougar in Saratoga Springs, New York

Vehicle Description

ZERO rust, original, matching numbers XR7 CONVERTIBLE COUGAR built in Dearborn, she lived in Northern California for its first 20+ years, and since garaged and upgraded living in NY for the last 14 years. I've driven it less than 2,000 miles in the 14 years. She is always garaged, never rained upon, since I've owned her. This car is better than good condition, but not perfect, this is original...

This car has no rust, and no bondo, no accidents from what i can tell. I have put over $20,000 into it and at $22,500 is $15K lower than NADA pricing at a good rating. This is a rare solid, ready to go for many years driver, for someone that wants to DRIVE IT with the top down. Being an original numbers and no-rot car, this can be a show car if you want it to be.

Flaws are it has a small non spreading crack on the windshield on the passenger side and a patch on the gas tank that holds fine. They are both stable for two years and why bother at this time. Both can be repaired for under $500. This is not a museum piece yet, it's just a great, no rust, original numbers drivers for $22.5K. If want a SHOW Cougar there is one on Ebay for $39,000 and one on Hemmings for $87,000.
