Vehicle Description
1966 Ford Mustang Coupe
The Ford Mustang remains one of the most successful models in
automotive history and continues as a popular collector car. It was
designed to break through the boring designs and uninspired models
of the era. An affordable, sporty looking two door the Mustang hit
showrooms in the middle of the 1964 model year and by the end of
1966 Ford had sold more than a million Mustangs.
Today Mustangs are only increasing in value and they are quite
popular as restoration projects because parts are readily available
at a reasonable price when compared to other popular models of the
era. Also there is the Mustang Club of America with 150 regions to
provide help with restorations.
This car is now partially restored and is an excellent candidate
for a full restoration. The blue paint is a color originally
offered on the GT model and the blue interior has a new carpet just
installed. Also setting off this Mustang is extra optional chrome
trim.
The standard straight six engine is 200 cu. in which delivered some
120 h.p. with the standard automatic transmission. A newly
installed new carburetor helps performance.
This is an opportunity to enter the car hobby with a doable
restoration project at a reasonable price.
