STK 2486 1930 Ford Custom Delivery
Back in the day, the Ford Panel Delivery was a popular work truck.
Today, this 1930 Ford is the basis for a stunning street rod. It
was carefully restored over a 10-year period with the owner
overseeing the entire process. The all-metal body was meticulously
prepped and the top was beautifully chopped a full 5". The Ford was
then reshot in PPG Sun Kissed Orange (2015) to the tune of a
$20,000 spray job and is stunning - look at the photos again. The
classic 'deuce' front grill assembly and 'old-school' 15" American
Racing wheels with nice Kumho radials are perfect accents. The
handsome grey leather interior is something to behold. Electric
'suicide doors' allow access to luxury seating for two in the
contoured heated bucket seats. A polished Banjo/Leather wheel is
affixed to a tilt-column and digital gauges provide engine
feedback. A Kenwood AM/FM/CD system incorporates a rear camera and
there is room for all of your belongings in the rear compartment.
Close the SPW power tinted-windows, turn on the Max-Air A/C system
and cruise in comfort. Horsepower is provided by a 350ci Chevy
small-block that was totally rebuilt in 2008. The beautifully
detailed engine is fitted with an aluminum intake, Holley 4V carb
and shorty headers. A polished serpentine system and electric fan
handle cooling requirements. The Chevy mates well with a GM 350
TurboHydraumatic and narrowed 9" Ford differential with 3.00:1
gearing. A custom 2x4 square-steel chassis integrates power
rack-and-pinion steering and SureRide coil-over front suspension.
Brakes are 4-wheel disc with power assist. The rear suspension is
also coil-over and there is a pair of tanks for fuel storage. This
hot rod is built to run as well as it looks, but must be seen to be
appreciated. This baby deserves all the bragging rights available!
This custom Ford Panel Delivery is well worth a trip to the
Autobarn. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS".
