Vehicle Description
This 1985 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 already has you hooked with its
great period presentation that these 3rd-gens are known for, but
rarely still seen today. But more than just look retro-cool, dig in
deeper to discover that this is a low-mileage survivor offered for
an irresistible price.
The full color package is what makes this Z/28 leave a terrific
first impression. And it's all original on this survivor! The white
paint with the silver factory body kit reminds us that Chevy often
understood color coordination better than anyone else. In-between
these two colors is a full factory stripe package that is an artful
fade between red and black. This is especially important, because
the red coordinates with the upper pinstripe, and the black ties in
all the aggressive Z/28 elements - including the louvered hood and
darkly recessed headlight mountings. So we can tell you all about
how awesome the elements look, but really you'll just love it
because everyone will see the whole package and say, "Wow, that's
rad!" So how does a Camaro survive looking this great? It was
bought new by a man known in his town for having plenty of cars,
but hardly ever driving them (especially in the winter.) He's owned
it for over three decades, and this Camaro was preserved it in has
barn. So yes it's a true barn find!
With the car averaging less than 1,150 miles annually, the interior
is going to look fantastic, too. That's especially important,
because as a T-top Z/28, you can easily share the red interior with
the world. The combination of the red against the white exterior
(and all those coordinating red accents) makes this an instant
attention-grabber. More than just the fantastically preserved
presentation, you're going to love this because it's a loaded
classic. That means comfy bucket seats with an armrest center
console in-between. You also get power windows, cruise control, a
tilt wheel, rear defrost, provisions for air conditioning, and the
factory AM/FM/cassette stereo. Even the power hatch release still
works, and the gas struts are new, so go ahead and stow this T-tops
in the original bags with ease.
On a survivor like this, it's great to have the what's believed to
be the original V8 under the hood. It looks exceptionally
preserved, right down to the hoses and decals. But you want a car
like this for more than just its history. The fuel-injected 305
cubic-inch V8 is known for plenty of power and the kind of torque
that makes you first off the line. Plus, this is fantastic
all-around cruiser thanks to features like power steering, front
disc brakes, sway bars front & rear, and a four-speed automatic
transmission w/highway-friendly overdrive. There are even new
Cooper tires on the cool factory alloys so you can go out and enjoy
this one right now.
Complete with the original window sticker, this is an exceptional
survivor offered for an unbeatable price. Don't let this cool
Camaro slip into some else's garage. Call now!
