Vehicle Description
This 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air sedan is an iconic classic with a dark
shine, and it's all offered for a value price. But what will really
make you want this one is the way the crowds will gather as you
show off its upgraded V8 power.
A '57 Chevy is a true icon of American motoring. So when it has
been given an upgraded appearance with deep black paint buffed to a
mirror shine, then you know it's ready to show off. In fact, since
they knew this was ready for primetime, the iconic bumpers were
re-chromed for a true mirror-like presence to rival the paint's
shine. Plus, there's a ton of great custom touches like the dual
spotlights, large dual exhaust tips, and much more. Our favorite
has to be the custom pinstriping on the one piece hood, trunk, and
above headlights to add a little color flair to the deep black. And
those iconic Cragar SS wheels are a great way to add some shine
while also signaling to some upgraded power (more on that tin a
moment.)
The interior does the same job of adding a ton of custom work while
still respecting the Bel Air's history. For example, the two rows
of bench seats have the classic-style presentation, but now that
they're finished in a vibrant two-tone black and red. It really
signals this Chevy's more aggressive attitude. Plus, newer carpets
and headliner keep it all feeling fresh. There's even a retro-style
AM/FM radio with digital tuner to keep this feeling vintage while
offering upgraded cruising tunes. But when it comes to speedy
pieces, this Bel Air makes its presence known. You get the tingle
of performance as your left hand grabs the Grant sports steering
wheel, and your right one rests on the B&M shifter. Plus, with
the upgraded gauges, including a large column-mounted tach, you get
to know exactly what's going on under the hood.
While a Bel Air is sure to attract a crowd, all you have to do is
show off the engine bay, and people will come running towards this
one. After all, the entire front end tilts forward for a very
custom and sporty presentation. Because everyone can see the motor
much better, it has been dressed to impress. Nearly every component
was polished - from the large air grabber, to the valve covers, to
the upgraded pulleys. More than just look fantastic, this motor was
built for performance. It's a 350 cubic-inch small block that was
enhanced with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock
intake, and Hooker ceramic-coated headers. There's even a Champion
aluminum radiator to keep it all running cool. While the growl of
the dual exhaust lets the world know it's a performance machine,
there's much more going on here. There are great easy driving
features like the three-speed automatic transmission, power
steering, and front disc brakes. Plus, with the cool front end
being made of lightweight fiberglass, it gives this classic a
better balance on the road.
With all this attention to detail, you get an icon that has a
spirit all its own. So at an affordable price like this, you know
you need to hurry if you want to take this '57 Chevy home. Call
