New to our Pleasanton showroom is this highly impressive1966
Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray 2 Door Coupe with red exterior paint
and a very impressive black leather interior with red piping.
You'll find a period correct 427 cid, 425 horsepower V-8 engine
with a 4-speed manual transmission, power steering/windows & power
brakes, real spindle wheels and so much more. This classic muscle
car is in outstanding overall condition and it has been driven less
than 500 miles since it underwent a complete restoration in May of
2017.
Enjoyed by Same Owner Since 1975- Stored for Over 25 Years
The current owner of this 1966 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray
purchased it all the way back in 1975 as the 3rd lifetime owner. He
informs us that he drove it for a short period of time and
eventually placed in storage for the next 25 years. It was
retrieved once again around 2015 to undergo a complete frame-off
restoration where every inch of this desirable muscle car was
broken down and refurbished back to like-new condition inside &
out. This example still borders on perfection to this day and it
must be seen in person to truly appreciate the level of
quality.
Additionally, this 1966 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray drives like a
brand new muscle car with outstanding power from the period correct
motor and ample torque to the wheels. The handling is highly
responsive and the suspension is excellent, with smooth ride
quality and impressive in turns. The braking is also up to par as
well and with excellent documentation to show that this muscle car
was restored the right way, there's simply nothing here for
collectors to question. It's an awesome example and ready for
center stage.
