1932 Ford Model A Roadster
This Model A roadster is a great street-rod that has a great build
quality. Good power, a tough sound and comfort to boot.
Why This Car Is Special
One look at the underside of this car lets you know that no expense
was spared during the build. The frame and underside of the body
are all nicely painted, along with the rear end and transmission
pan. A lot of the suspension components are chrome to really make
the underside pop.
Mechanical
A 350 engine has been stroked to 383 cubic inches and has an
Edelbrock Performer intake topped off with a Quadrajet carburetor.
Headers lead out to dual exhaust with chrome tips exiting the rear
and have a muscle car sound. A Turbo 350 backs up the engine and a
Ford 9" with adjustable coil over shocks put the power to the
ground. The front end has a chrome drop axle with chrome shocks and
disc brakes.
Interior
A simple black vinyl bench seat with seat belts is accompanied by a
tilt steering column and a very cool billet dash treatment that
houses the VDO gauges. An AM/FM/Cassette radio is installed in the
dash as well for your listening pleasure. The door panels are done
in a matching black vinyl with a storage pocket on each door. The
trunk is carpeted in black as well houses the battery and fuel
tank.
Exterior
This Roadster is painted a lovely Vintage Burgundy and is set off
by aluminum alloy wheels. Chrome exhaust tips exit the rear and
highlight the rear end from a distance. The iconic 32 Ford grill is
paired with louvered hood sides and chrome headlights. This car has
a great stance with big meats out back and the fenderless Wescott
fiberglass body. The appearance are set off by an original 1932
Ford radiator and radiator surround. It doesn't get much cooler
than that.
Conclusion
This is a great running 1932 Ford roadster, that was built with no
