EXTERIOR: All clean metal with no patches. Repainted it's original
poppy red color. Has a very smooth, glossy finish front to back.
Jambs are slick, weatherstips are replaced. No rust or damage.
Beautiful 17 inch polished torque thrust wheels with performance
Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Bumpers, grill, taillights, gas cap
have been replaced. Has dual mirrors. The dual exhaust comes out
through the rear valance. White power top is in excellent shape.
The original style emblems on the front fenders cleverly have the
5.0 designation.
INTERIOR: Very nice white interior, new convertible boot. Custom
Phantom white face gauges In a custom bezel. Upgraded retro stereo
with bluetooth, kick panel speakers in front, 5 inch speakers in
back. Has a hump hugger console with cup holders. The 5-speed
shifter has a handle and knob that looks like the original. The air
conditioning system cleverly uses the factory levers and the vents
very nicely installed under the dash. Dash pad, steering wheel,
cranks and handles were replaced.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Upgraded by about 30 years with a fuel injected
Mustang 5.0 liter high output motor. Rebuilt with E303 cam kit,
Sanderson shorty headers and electronic ignition. It uses a
serpentine belt and pulley system. Upgraded KRC power steering
system. Custom machined aluminum support bars. Has an electric fan
to keep it cool with an overflow bottle. Has modern air
conditioning system with R134 freon. The engine compartment is very
neat and tidy.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Trunk is all clean metal with a nice fresh coat
of spatter finish paint. Has a complete plaid liner kit including
mat, tire cover and bag for the jack. Has car cover too. Under side
of the trunk lid and the jambs are painted a glossy poppy red
color, new weatherstrip.
UNDERSIDE: Clean metal with no patches. many upgrades. Upfront it
has complete Global West suspension, rack and pinion steering,
Wilwood disc brakes with slotted and drilled rotors and sway bar.
In the middle there are frame connectors and a Tremec 3550 5-speed
trans. Has Centerforce hydraulic clutch, Mustang Steve pedal
bearing kit and an aluminum driveshaft. In back it has new springs,
shocks, Currie 9 inch rear with 3.25 gears, new gas tank, electric
fuel pump. New fat dual exhaust system.
This is a turn key car. I know the owner, he put several hundred
miles on the car this summer and tells me it was great. It has all
the desirable ingredients.
