convertible. 1977 marked the end of production for the Beetle coupe
in the US market so the final three years ('78, '79 & '80) all
Beetle's produced for the US market were convertible body style.
Production was relatively low with only 10,681 produced in 1979.
The Beetles air cooled engine is 1600 cc's and produces around 50
hp with the help of a Bosch fuel injection system which came into
production a few years earlier. This triple white example runs and
drives great! It's very original and in excellent condition
throughout. It has recently been serviced by a local VW garage and
