Vehicle Description
Documented $97,570 in itemized invoices plus the cost of the car
puts it over $100,000! The owner got his money's worth, it is first
class workmanship. The before and after pictures will blow you
away! The transformation from a stock old model A into a world
class custom street rod is impressive. The pictures really puts
into perspective the time and money that was invested. Believe it
or not the car is a cruiser. A 6'2" guy can fit, has cold a/c and
410 hp under the hood.
UNDERSIDE: Painted as slick as the topside and dressed with chrome.
Started with a new TCI frame. In back it has a chrome tubular 4
link suspension with coil over gas shocks and Ford 9 inch rear with
3:1 ratio. In front it has independant suspension with chrome
tubular a-arms, adjustable coil over gas shocks and Wilwood disc
brakes. Has rack & pinion steering. Bottom of motor is painted body
color. Has Hughes Turbo 350 auto trans with external cooler. Optima
battery is mounted under the car with external terminals, cut off
switch and built in charger. Everything is run so neatly. Has
stainless brake and fuel lines. Dual exhaust with stainless
muffler. Has removable hitch for small trailer. Gas tank relocated
to rear of car. It still looks fresh underneath, show quality.
MOTOR COMPARTMENT: It is also restored to a high show quality. The
firewall was recessed to fit all the new goodies. The heart is a
crate 350 motor with 410 hp. It has a great sounding Mother Thumper
cam, polished Edelbrock carb, aluminum heads and intake.
Walker radiator, polished overflow bottle, electric fan and shroud
keeps it cool. Vintage heat and air system is full of polished
components and keeps the passengers comfortable. Actually the motor
is fully decorated with polished parts- pulleys, alternator, valve
covers, water pump, fuel pump, hoses, air cleaner etc.
EXTERIOR: This is a real Henry Ford, original Murray body 7 window
4 door sedan. We have the before pictures and they started with a
rust free complete car, not a body shell found in a farmer's field.
Much of the original body features were preserved. Roof was not
chopped so normal people can still fit. The vinyl roof was replaced
with a metal ribbed Dodge Caravan roof. Has original hood, metal
front fenders and fiberglass rear fenders. Has running boards with
rubber, chromed stock grill and stone gaurd. Has LED taillights and
3rd brake light in window, up front has Ford headlights with
turnsignals built in. The paint is amazing. It's Corvette magnetic
red with 3 coats of clear polished like glass. Speaking of glass
it's all new too.
INTERIOR: Wow, you would think you were sitting in a new Mercedes.
Rich materials were chosen and tastfully installed. Completely
upholstered in genuine Brittish tan leather. I mean everything is
soft leather- seats front and back, side panels and even the
welting. Comfortably seats 4 adults. With the front seats back i
still sat in the back seat just fine. There is ton of room upfront.
Both seats recline, drivers is power and has lumbar. In back it has
built in armrests on each side and fold down armrest in the middle.
There are seat belts for everyone. Overhead is a beautiful console
with polished wood trim, lights and stereo. Headliner is ribbed and
covered in fabric. Carpets are vimtage Mercedes type with matching
mats and sewn leather edges. There are even leather boots around
parking brake and shifter. The dash is classy. Has polished wood
and the knobs are polished wood so they blend right in. Has a full
set of classic gauges. The tilt column is polished and has leather
wrapped steering wheel.
Every part of this car is new or restored to high standards. The
itemized list breaks down every little component so you know what
you have. End result is a classy top notch street rod you can
comfortably drive anywhere with 3 of your friends!
