Vehicle Description
Atlantis Blue exterior, Blue interior. 400ci V8 engine, 4 speed
manual transmission, Factory A/C, Rare 4 speed trans, Great driver.
The W72 6.6L engine runs great and was only available with a manual
transmission. By mid-1978, the automatic transmission was dropped
from the option list, making the Borg-Warner Super T-10 4-speed the
only transmission available with the W72 Performance Package.
Sadly, availability of the T/A 6.6 engines ran out sometime in
March or April 1979, marking the end of the last hi-performance 400
Pontiac engine. The T/A 6.6 became the last factory-installed
hi-performance 400-cid engine produced by Pontiac. This car has the
rare Atlantis Blue code 24 with blue cloth interior option. The
paint has a great shine with nice matching blue graphics and hood
bird. The interior is great condition with hardly any wear on the
seats and steering wheel. The dash is crack-free with factory
working gauges. The doors open and close nicely with no sagging.
This car features the WS6 performance handling package with factory
four wheel disc brakes. Overall this is a hard to find, well
optioned car. Some factory options include> power steering,
power brakes, tilt steering, A/C, posi rear axle, AM FM radio, WS6
handling package, W72 performance engine, N90 aluminum wheels,
electric clock, rear defrost, and much more... This rare Trans Am
is ready to hit the road whether it be a local car show or cross
country trip. Come out today to see it in person!
