beautiful 1965 Pontiac Tempest Custom for your consideration. The
car was sold new in California, then spent some time in Ontario and
then finally made its way to Michigan where it underwent a
restoration. In 2016 the car was separated from the chassis and was
given all new body mounts. According to the owner, all the sheet
metal is original and underwent a repaint 20 years ago and still
looks great today. The car has all new weather stripping and window
seals as well. According to the owner, the period correct 389 v8
engine was rebuilt roughly 4,000 miles ago. The 4-speed Borg Warner
manual transmission came out of a 1965 Corvette. The car runs and
handles very well. The car also has a new fuel pump, Edelbrock
carburetor and an Edelbrock intake. Other highlights include new
radiator, rebuilt alternator, new AC unit, all new bushings and
control arms, rebuilt steering gear, new ball joints, Hotchkins
sway bars and control arms, stainless fuel lines and Pypes exhaust.
The Tempest rides on Coker Classic tires mounted 15 inch wheels.
The car also has power steering. This is a great driving car and is
ready for its next owner.
