Vehicle Description
This 1971 Chevrolet Suburban is a beautiful vehicle. It is
straight, clean, and solid. It was a Southwestern Truck and it had
a Frame Off Restoration a few years ago where everything was
rebuilt or replaced. It is very difficult to find an early Suburban
like this in this condition. This was originally a K10 1/2 Ton
Suburban, but when they restored it they added 3/4 Ton Axles from a
91 Suburban and 3/4 Ton Springs so it now has Front Disc Brakes and
it is more like a 3/4 Ton. The truck has around 4300 miles on it
since it was completed and it is a wonderful driving truck.
The body on this truck is amazing and super straight. They took it
completely apart when it was repainted and it shows. There are some
minor stone chips from driving it, but is beautiful. The interior
was also redone and it is excellent! It has a Custom Oak Rear Cargo
area and wood door panels and steering wheel. They left the dash
and dash pad original and they are both in great shape. The engine
is the 350 V8 that was rebuilt to stock specs. It does have an
edelbrock Aluminum Intake, Edelbrock Carb, HEI Ignition, Power
Steering, Power Disc Brakes, and Dual Exhaust. The Transmission is
a Turbo 350 Transmission which was rebuilt and Np205 Transfer Case
which was resealed. The Rear End is a Corporate 14 Bolt and the
Front End is a 10 Bolt Corporate. The 2 Inch Lift and New Wheels
and Tires give this truck a great stance.
When we drove this Suburban we were very pleased with how well it
drove. It was easy to drive and the engine had a lot of power and
ran excellent. The transmission shifted great as well! All of the
lights, blinkers, wipers were working. The only thing not working
that we found was the horn. We hand pick each vehicle, drive it,
inspect it, and make sure it is ready for you to enjoy! We drive
what we sell so that we can give you a first hand and accurate
report on how the vehicle runs and drives.
