In 1999 Motor Trend Magazine proclaimed it the "fastest street car
we've ever tested." Even in 2018, there aren't too many cars,
American or foreign, that can outperform this Beast. SPEED,
HANDLING, STOPPING POWER, and, oh yeah, did we mention BEAUTY? This
1999 Dodge Viper is equipped with Hennessey's Venom 650R package.
Shipped new from the Dealership to Hennessey in 1999, this Dodge
Viper was transformed from a 400HP growler of an 8.0 Liter V-10 to
a 650HP Raving Monster. With only 4,909 original miles, this Viper
blasts from zero to 60mph in 3.3 seconds, a quarter mile later and
you're at 131.5 mph - and for those willing to push the limits (on
a closed track, of course) the top speed is 215 mph! Just a quick
look at what it would have cost to transform this monster in 1999
here is an idea. The $37,500 stand-alone engine upgrades include
all that ridiculously outrageous mechanical Hennessy wizardry
enchantments, such as enlarged cylinder bores, forged steel
connecting rods, forged aluminum pistons, whole assembly balanced
and blueprinted, Hennessey cylinder heads that are ported,
polished, Extrude-Honed and allows for bigger stainless steel
valves and seats, new guides, double springs, and titanium
retainers, etc.,etc.,etc., you get the idea. This Viper absolutely
has the great looks to back up all of that performance! Or, more
accurately, it GETS THE LOOKS!! This Viper has the $14,000 Hennessy
aerodynamic fiberglass Body Upgrade. The fascia has a much more
sleek and refined look than the standard Viper, kind of like
Cinderella before the clock strikes midnight. The functional
integrated rear wing absolutely completes the portrait of a
beautiful car while helping with down force. Yes, it does go fast,
but don't worry about stopping, you'll have a $12,000 Brembo
Braking System at your foot to bring you to a very quick stop. And
just to make sure you can fulfill your dreams of knowing what it
feels like to be a NASCAR driver (in this very much street legal
car) this Viper has driver and passenger-side racing seats complete
with 5-point harnesses (standard seat belts are also installed for
those days when you just don't have time to strap on the cool
belts). This Viper might as well be nicknamed the "Silver Bullet,"
because of the speed, yes; but, also the exterior is a gorgeous
Viper Silver Metallic color with wide black stripes professionally
placed in the traditional Viper manner, from bumper to bumper. The
interior is beautifully meshed in red & black leather. While this
Viper most certainly has all the Go-Fast' mechanics a drag racer
dreams of, the truth is, this Viper has been babied its entire
life. Originally purchased by a Floridian car collector for his
wife, the car spent its first 14 years driven very sparingly. Not
much changed when it went to its second (and current) owner who
lives in Colorado. The current owner purchased the Viper with 3,515
miles and has only driven it to its current 4,909 original miles,
having only completed maintenance (synthetic) oil changes and added
the aforementioned black colored stripes. You can view this 1999
