Vehicle Description
Production ended for theTR6 in 1976 selling almost 92,000 units
since the debut in 1968. This was the best selling TR platform
until it was surpassed by the TR7 later on. The TR6 took the same
shape as the TR250 and TR4 and in our books these were looking. All
TR6's were powered by the 2.5 Liter using a standard 4-speed manual
gearbox with the optional electrically controlled overdrive. This
particular TR6 has been restored some time ago which still shows
incredibly well. There is a giant three ring binder with all
restoration history with receipts and photo log as well. The top is
a newer hartz cloth top that is in very good condition. This car
gets a lot of looks in its excellent rare color of blue over black
interior. Everything operates as it should including the optional
overdrive. There is a tonneau cover as well as car cover that
accompany the vehicle upon purchase. This is a excellent driver
that does not appear to leak or smoke and is ready for
enjoyment.
