Vehicle Description
1987 Mercedes-Benz 560SL Roadster finished in Smoke Silver and
Black Soft Top with a Beige interior. Powered by a reliable 5.6L V8
engine producing 227hp that's backed by a 4-speed automatic
transmission. Features in this car include two tops, original spare
tire, tools, original painted wheels, chrome wheel arch moldings,
Pioneer head unit, climate control hang tag, extra keys, two
hardtop wrenches, new battery, and new belts. When sent to the U.S.,
the 560 SL was the most powerful Mercedes-Benz SL of the last
decade. It was also the heaviest but featured a powerful V8 engine
capable of pushing all that weight to a 130mph top speed. With more
torque available than previous models, the German automaker put a
limited slip differential in the rear end to handle the extra
power. They also upgraded the rear suspension, put in an anti-lock
brake system, leather interior, and an alarm system. Considered the
R107 SL's, this particular chassis lasted from 1971-1989 when
Mercedes-Benz then released its 1990 model year, its first all-new
SL in 18 years. A stunning car with a stellar build quality and
reliability, the 560SL is the perfect collector's car for the
perfect price. For more information on this beautiful 1987
