1961 Chevrolet Impala, also known as a Bubble Top. This car is
fresh off a restoration that wrapped up earlier this year. This
bubble top has a ton of new goodies are new with less than 500
miles on them make this Impala ready to enjoy! The exterior is
finished with a gorgeous Roman Red and white, which is accented by
an abundance of bright chrome. The look and stance of this 1961
Chevrolet Impala is completed with a set of 18 inches chrome rims
wrapped in radial tires. New headlights in front and new tail light
assembly, gasket and lenses. The driver and passenger door glass
have factory tint. Inside is just as clean with a red and white
vinyl seats and a white accenting headliner. New vintage air with
electronic control switches. To list some of the new on the inside
are: MSD Electronic Ignition, gages, tachometer, ignition switch,
all the dash and glove box are in chrome, AM/FM radio with
Bluetooth, tilt steering column, rearview mirror, dome lamps,
speakers, carpet, seat belts, ashtrays, door handles, all door
felt, door weather stripping, vent glass weather stripping, Hurst
shifter and door sill plates. All of the door locks and trunk lock
have been keyed for one key. The trunk has new lid tension rods and
trunk mat. Under the hood, you will find a rebuilt 283 CID V8 with
a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission. This car will really get up
and go. There have been lots of upgrades here too. With new brake
lines, a chrome master brake cylinder with rear brake proportioning
valve, front disc brake conversion, new brake hoses. The rear
drums, shoes, cylinders and hardware are also new. There should be
no problem in stopping. There are plenty of other new here too
like: hydraulic clutch, reservoir, pump, thermostat, heater hoses,
drive belts, chrome ignition coil, chrome air cleaner assembly,
Holly 4-barrel carburetor, power steering pump and hoses, water
pump, thermostat and heater hoses. A new 4-core radiator with
electric fans and a/c condenser. There is a temperature control
with manual override switch under the dash. All tubular suspension
front and rear upper/lower control A-arms are new. There is new
two-piece drive shaft, timing chain, clutch, flywheel, release
bearing oil pump and screen, a chrome oil pan, distributor cap,
plugs, wires and chrome timing chain cover. There is a stainless
gas tank and fuel tank sending unit, the fuel neck and connecting
hose to tank are new. New gas pump, fuel lines, shocks, front coil
springs, chrome alternator (100 amp), wiring harness, fuse box, and
all wiring has been replaced throughout. The rear axle bearings and
seal with new gear lube are also new. There is so much new on it
that only the style is considered old. This 1961 Chevrolet Impala
