This is a 1970 Mercedes-Benz 280 SL in Tobacco Brown over Cognac. The car has 103,000 original miles however a new rebuilt engine was installed a few years ago. The car has been very well cared for and has excellent floors and no rust. The factory hardtop is in terrific shape and the car is equipped with factory air-conditioning. Upgrades to the car include a brand new brown German soft top, European headlights, new leather Cognac seats and an upgraded stereo and additional speakers which are easily removed if so desired. The rest of the interior is original and untouched and the car comes with extra Cognac vinyl door panels that match the seats. The car comes with an original radio and factory air conditioning. The particular 280 SL has had three owners and the gentleman we purchased the car from sold it because he was moving to Japan. The second owner had the car the majority of its life and can still be contacted; also included are the car's original books.
