Chevrolet put the auto industry on notice when they chose to skip a
year in production and wait to perfect the C4 Vette as they rolled
it out as a totally new vehicle in 1984 to introduce to their loyal
fan base. The refined drivetrain, better performance and stylish
looks was what was demanded and they delivered nicely in this new
setup.
This very clean and well cared 1985 Corvette shows well. The paint
is in excellent condition and the hounds tooth interior is still
like new. The 350 v8 fires right up and runs well, and is paired to
a 7 speed manual transmission. The "Doug Nash 4+3" manual
transmission is a pretty unique option. Doug Nash was a famous
Detroit hot rodder from the 60s, after retiring from racing he went
to work for GM, designing their manual transmissions. Options
include tinted removable top, air condition, power steering, power
brakes, power seats, power mirrors, AM/FM/Cassette player, tilt
wheel, power antenna, Delco/Bose speakers, 16 inch alloy wheels
with like new Goodyear Eagle tires, and more.
