VERY RARE IMMACULATE 1966 MERCURY CYCLONE GT CONVERTIBLE INDIANAPOLIS 500 PACE CAR
There were only 100 Commerative Pace Cars produced and this one is one of the Finest Laser Straight Cyclone GT Pace Cars you will find. Vin# 6H285#####. I had the Pace car decals removed but they are still available if one chooses. Car underwent an extensive restoration in 2000, too much to list, but was barely driven with approximately 8000 miles since restoration and actual mileage on the car is believed to be approximately 62000 miles. Car truly looks like it just came out of the Paint booth. Body and Paint are extremely straight with no filler. Car is super solid and drives very nice. Cyclone is fitted with 390/335hp Balanced/Blueprinted, 3spd C-6 Automactic, 9” 3.25 gears, factory fibreglass hood, factory dash mounted tach, power top, power steering, power front disc brakes, 2.5” FlowMaster Exhaust.
