1980's. The beginning of this line began in 1952, when the Ford
Motor Company did a restructuring of their all new vehicle line
that began in 1949. The Customline was the mid-level car, the
peddles have now become suspended from below the dash. A voltmeter,
gas gauge, temp gauge, and oil pressure were standard. The clock
and radio were positioned in the center of the dash, and the grille
now sported a single center Bullet flanked by vertical black
stripes. The radio preset buttons were even preset to local
stations by your local ford dealer as a special yet unusual
service. This vehicle is equipped with the Ford 272 CID V-8 engine,
automatic transmission, and power steering. It has been kept in the
same family ever since, and comes with the original Bill of Sale,
Owners Manual, along with it's first Title and Registration. She
appears to have been pampered her whole life, as the new owner
decided to have her taken down to bare metal and repainted in the
