Stunning Red CSX4229 1965 Shelby Cobra 427 S/C Continuation Series

Here’s your opportunity to own and drive a genuine Shelby Cobra without breaking the bank! Produced by Shelby American, Inc., this CSX4229 is part of Shelby’s “Continuation Series” and was originally sold on Tuesday, February 20, 2001 to Nostalgia Motorcars in South Carolina. There, the legendary Jim Harrell and his crew installed a Shelby 498 cid aluminum FE big-bore big-block with an eight-stack TWM/Borla throttle body atop an Edelbrock FE aluminum cylinder head and coupled it with a “Legend-correct” rugged Ford 4-speed toploader gearbox.

Impeccably custom-painted in racing-red with white LeMans longitudinal stripes. The spectacularly striking persona of this serpent turns heads wherever it goes.

The CSX4229 is registered under the coveted SB100 (California Senate Bill 100). This means no smog certification and no California registration hassles for the life of the car!  This car is street legal and ready to drive.  No additional work is required. It starts immediately, idles great and drives tamely or insanely – your choice.  This car not only runs flawlessly, but attention has been given to every detail - everything works perfectly, from all the panel lights to the cabin heater & defroster.  It is ready for you to get behind the wheel and enjoy.
