1988 MERCEDES-BENZ 560 SL 108,000 Original Miles, V8 5.6L, Automatic Transmission. While the Mercedes is 31 years old, for a car of this age it has many amazing features: including airbag, Security System, both hard and soft tops, and many other desirable features. Overall the power is strong for a car from the 80s with it's 227 hp 5.6 liter V8 power plant that had a top speed of 137 miles per hour. Its 0-60 time was around 7.2 seconds. (Very impressive when you consider that it's a fairly heavy car.) With a strong following because of its ability to capture every essence of a traditional roadster in one car, it is a head turner. While the 560 has 108,000 miles the car is in excellent condition. Leather interior is top notch for 1988. Car has lots of new (Bosch) parts, including Michelin tires, Muffler, Starter, Fuel Pumps (requires 2), Fuel Accumulator, Fuel Filter, Oxygen Sensor, Gas Tank Filter Screen, EHA Valve, AC Compressor, Hood Pad, Sparks Plugs, Spark Plugs Wires, Overload Protection Relay, Windshield Washer Heaters, Quick Ratio Steering Gear Box, Steering Coupler, Steering Damper, Tie Rods, Master Cylinder and Battery. Transmission recently rebuilt. Car must be seen and read about to really appreciate. Third owner with all maintenance records (Including most parts that have been replaced) since acquiring.
