It is reported to be one of five examples finished in Starlight Black over Magnolia upholstery for the US-market in 2006. Power comes from a Toyota-sourced 1.8L inline-four & 6-speed manual transmission, also factory options include the Touring pack and 17” forged LSS wheels are equipped with Lotus center caps. A handful of cosmetic modifications added by the previous owner are described below, and a new battery was installed in spring 2018. This Elise is now being offered for sale with a hardtop, soft Targa top w/ bag, battery tender, service records from new, a clean Carfax report, a Lotus Certificate of Provenance, and a clean Ohio title. New brake pads and discs were installed less than 10k miles ago in 2013, and a Stage 2 exhaust system has been added. Bi-xenon headlights and OEM driving lights have been installed, and the windscreen was replaced in 2013. Star Shield paint film is intact in proper areas. The cabin is trimmed in Magnolia leather with aluminum accents on the sills and center tunnel. Matching shift and parking brake boots have been added, as have aluminum turn signal and wiper stalks. The driver’s seat has been mounted in a fixed-position with a passenger seat rail from a right-hand drive model. A JVC head unit with navigation was reportedly installed by the dealership when new. Minor scratches are noted on interior plastics, and the steering wheel airbag cover was recently repainted due to tackiness.
The Toyota-sourced 1.8L inline-four produced 190 horsepower and 133 lb-ft of torque when new. The camshafts and guides were replaced in 2011, and the seller notes that both recalls have been addressed.
