The Ford Thunderbird was a large, luxurious halo car that brought
style and features to the Ford range. Traditionally a two door
personal coupe, the Thunderbird was originally designed as a
response to the Chevrolet Corvette but soon morphed into a cushy
personal luxury car. The car went through numerous changes but
still range true to the Thunderbird ethos. The 7th generation
T-bird was sold from just 1977 till 1979. It was based on the Ford
LTD and was a bit smaller and more efficient than its predecessor.
Sales were strong and the car sold nearly a million units in three
years. The squarer, sharper styling was a hit and cars flew off the
lot.

for your consideration. Last year of the 7th generation, this car
features Ford Bright Red paint that is in great shape. The body is
very clean and the paint shows well. Chrome is nice with just a
little bit of pitting. The exterior features a white vinyl roof
with unique handle bar top, engraved rear windows, hood ornament,
hid away headlights, hubcaps and white wall tires. The interior is
very nice and comfortable and features red cloth front bucket
seats. The dash is solid and crack free and has nice wood trim. The
car also features the original radio and heater controls.
Powered by the standard 302cid Windsor V8 paired to an automatic
transmission. This car is smooth and comfortable to drive like a
Thunderbird should. This car has been very well cared for and even
comes with the owners manual and a bundle of receipts. Some of the
service work includes new electronic ignition module, brakes,
undercoating, valve cover, full tune ups, steering column,
suspension work and alignment.
