We got the Mercedes from a local lady who said she could not afford to keep it because it was so easy to get speeding tickets plus she wanted a cool classic car instead in her older days and we had a beautiful, original older Cadillac that worked well for her!
The original mileage is just over 52.000 miles, very low, almost all S600 available have well over 100.000 miles on them.
The previous owner had spent over $5000 having the hydraulic suspension removed and coil springs and struts installed.
We have spent another $4000-$5000 on things like 24 ignition coils, sparkplugs and other maintance things and the car is a great driving super luxury Mercedes. Plus we replaced both motormounts, a HUGE job involving pulling the complete engine and reinstalling again, 4 day job start to finish. One of the rubber mount had dried up here in hot and dry Arizona so we replaced both. But that job is done now.
New rear tires, front tires are good.
There's a small tear on the left front seat but there is not much else to compain about, considering it is a 15 year old and well taken care of car.
