Vehicle Description
The coveted Chip Foose treatment is about far more than simply
re-badging an already sharp looking exterior. Upper echelon
Mustangs like this 2007 Ford Mustang GT Foose Stallion sport a
variety of upgrades to their exteriors, interiors, drivetrain and
suspensions to provide them with outstanding acceleration,
ultra-agile handling and style in abundance.
While none of the modifications are so drastic that you'll find
yourself doing a double take to confirm just what it is you're
looking at, they're certainly dramatic enough to draw and keep your
attention. The tastefully modified hood, special billet grille
bearing the Foose logo, special front fascia and body-colored rear
spoiler are just some of the clues that this GT received its
upgrades at the hands of one of the most respected names in all of
the Mustang kingdom. The dramatic, two tone paint scheme, with the
copper colored body giving way to a black roofline, hood and
decklid is another signature, well-executed feature that pegs the
curb appeal meter, yet leaves this special edition Pony with a
refined, finished appearance. The cinnamon-tinged shade, the result
of a custom Foose paint job, provides a very sharp look,
complemented by the car's great stance - a tad lower than its more
commonly encountered counterparts, but by no means an asphalt
scraper.
The black leather interior is still looking crisp, with its pair of
buckets proudly displaying Foose badging of their own and showing
very little wear, while the bench seat in back looks nearly unused.
Just beyond the stock steering wheel the dash area looks to have
been treated with respect, with no visible scuffing on its surface,
an assortment of fresh and functional gauges in its cluster and a
supple-looking dash pad running across the top. Comfort and
convenience features include power seats, power windows and door
locks, a well-respected Shaker 1000 AM/FM/CD sound system and air
conditioning that's blowing with conviction to keep you and your
passengers comfortable. Airbags on both the driver and passenger
side offer an additional level of safety should the unforeseen
happen. The trunk area is nice and clean and features a subwoofer
cabinet tucked off to the side to provide plenty of bottom end to
the audio filling the cabin.
The namesake of the company entrusted with modifying this Ford
gained a good portion of his fame at the helm of a TV show entitled
"Overhaulin", so you'd rightfully have some lofty expectations from
behind the steering wheel. This special Pony delivers. The
fuel-injected 4.6 liter V8 sitting at the center of a very clean
engine compartment has been outfitted with a cold air intake system
and high flow air filter, and provides an exhilarating driving
experience. The powerplant teams with a 5-speed manual Tremec
TR3650 transmission, known for its ability to handle such an
output, and sounds out a great exhaust note through the stainless
steel dual exhaust. Foose himself had said that his objective as
far as handling was concerned was to noticeably exceed the
abilities of a factory GT while not finishing with a ride so harsh
as to instill punishment in everyday driving situations - and the
combination of race-inspired front and rear coil springs, upgraded
shocks and rear sway bar hits the mark in that respect. Baer power
disc brakes at all four corners, featuring amply sized, cross
drilled rotors, provide outstanding stopping power as this
skillfully enhanced Mustang turns heads on its 20" Foose Nitrous
wheels wrapped with Nitto NT555 tires.
This 2007 Ford Mustang GT Foose Stallion offers the rare
opportunity to put a masterfully modded Mustang in your garage.
