1975 TR6, 69K miles, nicely restored, Fresh black interior.
Cincy Classic Cars is proud to offer this 1975 Triumph TR6 which
is very nice driver condition with low Actual miles of 69,170.
This TR6 was treated to a refurbishment in 2013 including new
paint with new black decals and a new black interior color change.
This TR6 has been nicely restored and shows well in its newer
paint and new black interior. This TR6 is very solid with
excellent gaps and lines and the frame is very solid and honest and
shows no visible signs of rust. This TR6 features a nice
White repaint, a restored black interior, a strong running 6
cylinder engine and 4 speed transmission, and several restoration
receipts. This TR6 is finished in the beautiful and desirable
color combinations of White exterior code (19) over Black
interior. This is the correct exterior factory color as
indicated on the commission plate pictured above. The low
miles are shown as Actual on the Ohio title pictured above and also
by the excellent overall condition of this TR6.
Exterior
The White exterior is in good restored condition. This TR6
has nice paint and was painted around 5 years ago and still looks
fresh and shows well. The paint is in great overall condition
throughout and has an excellent shine and gloss. The paint is
smooth to the touch and is very consistent from panel to panel.
There is no visible evidence of rust anywhere on this car.
The body shows no rust at all and no bubbling or cracked
paint. The underside is in great original shape and shows no
visible signs of rust. Both bumpers are in good overall
condition. The redline tires are older but still drive well
and the wheels are nicely restored originals with original aluminum
trim rings. The convertible top is like new and features the
zip out rear window. All weather stripping and seals are in
great condition and most have been replaced. Trunk is very
solid and clean with the original trunk mat.
Interior
The Black interior of this TR6 is in great restored condition.
The interior color was changed to Black in 2013.
The Original style seat covers are in excellent overall condition
with no major wear, rips, seam splits and are very comfortable as
original seat covers are. The seat foam has been replaced.
The black carpet is in great overall condition with no major
stains, rips, or holes and was replaced. The door panels are
in excellent condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact.
The dash is in great overall condition with no cracks or
fading and the wood dash surround is in great condition as well.
The dash pad was replaced and in great condition. The
original steering wheel is in good condition and looks great in the
car and the horn works properly and the steering is tight.
All interior and exterior lights and gauges work as they
should. This TR6 has an original radio but it is currently
not hooked up. The wipers work. This car has not been
smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever.
Mechanical
This TR6 is in good mechanical condition and it runs and drives
very well. It pulls strong and is real responsive for a TR6
and comes with low actual miles of 69,170. It rides tight and
has no known rattles and is a pleasure to drive. This TR6
features a stock style exhaust system which gives this TR6 a
traditional exhaust note at idle and cruising speeds. The
rear differential was rebuilt and new bushings were installed and
the mounts were reinforced a few years ago. A new slave
cylinder and starter were installed recently. A new radiator
was installed recently as well. We have driven this TR6
numerous times around town and on the highway and it always
performs very well, does not run hot, rides tight, and is a true
joy to drive. The previous owner of this TR6 kept meticulous
care of this car and the way it runs and drives is a testament to
that. They had it checked out by their local Triumph expert
every year prior to cruising season and replaced worn items as
needed. Several restoration receipts and service records
document the maintenance on this TR6 and come with the car.
In the video one can observe this car running and driving
with no excessive rattles or noises, and the car handles and
performs very well. This TR6 is an good driver that feels
great on the road and at highway speeds. The brakes stop as
they should and do not pull from side to side. Some new fuel
lines and hoses were installed. Also, the engine is clean and
nicely detailed as one can see from the photos. The heater
was bypassed and the engine hoses were removed.
