Vehicle Description
The Buick Reatta is a luxurious convertible produced and sold by
the Buick division of General Motors from 1988 to 1991. It was
marketed as a hand crafted car as GM had small teams of workers
instead of the typical assembly line. Craft Stations were created
at various locations within the Buick plant. The cars were
transported between locations by computer guided carts. The Buick
Reatta sports its own unique body style with hand-made attention to
the quality and detail. It was the most expensive Buick made at
that time. The Reatta was not a huge seller because of its
expensive price. The 1991 model year was the last year of the
Reatta production. This 1990 Buick Reatta is a rare car and a future
collectible that will gain in value over time. Only 2,132
convertibles were produced in 1990 and this was the first year of
the Reatta convertible. The exterior is white with new paint that is
professional and presents very well. Chrome and exterior trim is in
excellent shape. The white convertible top is brand new. Wheels are
the original Reatta wheels with new tires. (different than current
photo).Interior is a burgundy leather console and is the original
interior. It is in very good condition. The drivers seat has some
typical cracks in the leather. This will need some minor repair and
conditioning for show. All other interior components are in very
good condition.Engine is the factory 3.8 liter V6, 165 hp, with a 4
speed automatic transmission and overdrive. This car is front wheel
drive.Almost all power and luxury options Buick had to offer were
standard equipment on the Reatta. This Buick Reatta is located in NC
and is available for viewing by appointment.
