Vehicle Description
This 1968 Dodge Coronet R/T re-creation underwent a recently
completed full restoration with a brand-new high-end paint finish.
This car started its life as a Coronet 500, and was converted to an
R/T model. It is powered by a correct 1968 440ci 8-cylinder engine
mated to a 727 3-speed automatic transmission with a Stage 2 shift
kit, and Sure-Grip rear end with 3:23 gears. It has factory exhaust
manifolds with a 2-1/2" exhaust system comprised of Dyna-Max
mufflers and an inline X-pipe, and has factory chrome tips on the
end. It comes equipped with subframe connectors, HEMI super stock
rear leaf springs, new fuel tank and sending unit, front slotted
rotor disc brakes, rear drum brakes, all-new front suspension with
poly-kit, power steering and 3-speed wiper motor. The interior
features a 150mph speedometer, factory tachometer, all-original
floor pans and trunk floor and a rear defroster. The exterior
sports a factory power bulge hood, R/T badges and brand-new 15"
chrome Magnum 500 wheels wearing new BFGoodrich raised white letter
tires. This award-winning 50-year-old B-body Mopar has been with
its current owner for the last 14 years, and has spent its whole
life in the Northwest.
