Vehicle Description
This 2015 Ford F-250 XLT Lariat Super Duty is a 4x4 thoughtfully
customized to be pure intimidation on or off-road. So when you can
look as bold as a Cigarette boat, tower over a city bus, and be as
powerful as a freight train (it even has the horn for that, too!)
you know this is the bold package built with no compromises.
The F-250 Super Duty is already an imposing vehicle. But there was
over $50,000 invested into this young buck to make it the most
intimidating and memorable silver star out there. It starts with
the full Fabtech package with 10-inch lift, four-link front,
floating rear traction bars, and Dirt Logic 4.0 coilover shocks
with reservoir. All of this tells you the truck can get itself out
of nearly every off-road situation. But the shine of that
butter-smooth silver paint also tells you it really has never been
down-n-dirty. All the major components, including the G2
differential covers were sent out to be powder coated so that they
would match the exterior paint. That was a $16k investment alone,
but worth it. After all, short cars will see more of the suspension
than the cab when pulling up next to this lifted Ford. But the
color matching wasn't done yet. All of the black trim pieces (52 in
total) were specifically removed and painted silver to make this
star shine brighter. And with paint like this, only the best
brightwork will do. A custom chrome grille was designed, and the
result is something you might notice ladies will use to check their
makeup at the car shows. And with more bright additions - from the
step rails to the custom 24-inch Specialty Forged wheels - you know
the investments were worth every penny in this well-coordinated and
shining total package.
Inside, this is the full leather interior of a loaded modern truck.
So it was all about retaining the factory comfort and space with
just the right upgrades added. For example, the factory wood-like
appearance package didn't fit with this modern theme, so it was
replaced with color matched pieces. Plus, sport pedals and LED
lighting was added. This Ford came loaded with all the best
features like power front seats, cruise control, power windows,
power locks, keyless entry/alarm, tilt steering wheel, heated
seats, dual airbags, power sliding rear window, sunroof, and dual
zone automatic climate control with air conditioning. Plus, the you
get a modern infotainment system that controls everything including
the satellite navigation, CD stereo, satellite radio, and backup
camera.
Under the hood is the original and stock 6.7-liter turbodiesel.
This truck is so modern that this is also the same PowerStroke
motor you get in a brand new Super Duty today. So while it's famous
for providing serious pulling power, this fuel-injected diesel
powerhouse has been given a few nice upgrades. A professional tune,
K&N air filter, and Magnaflow exhaust system help manage the
power and efficiency of this custom creation better than the
factory could. While this low-mileage truck has been treated with
respect all its life because it's been in its creator's hands, it's
still ready for true truck duty. There's a full trailer hitch and
wide trailering mirrors; underneath the color-matched tonneau cover
is a protected truck bed; and the electronically selected two-speed
transfer case and Nitto Terra Grappler tires are true go-anywhere
components. But even when you're just driving in town, features
like power steering, four-wheel disc brakes, and modern six-speed
automatic transmission make it easy for daily use.
