Vehicle Description
This 1929 Ford Model A Roadster is out to command your attention in
its slick red appearance. But when you look at all the alluring
details - from the steel body, to the powerful 350 V8, to the fully
independent suspension - you soon realize that this total street
machine is more than just about its bold first impression.
If you're going to build a custom machine, you may as well make it
attention-grabbing. The red is a deep and glossy shine, and that
luster is no accident considering there is less than 2,200 miles on
the whole build. This hot rod respects its history with original
styling cues such as the dual bumpers, headlight setup, and the
design of the folding roof. But then you also instantly notice the
sporty upgrades of the sleek fit and finish of the body, frenched
taillights, and beautiful Artillery-style wheels with Ford V8 logo
polished covers. The aggressively staggered tire size gives this
the kind of stance that made these Model As icons all over again in
the hot rod era.
The full custom interior offers plenty of comfort while still
remembering its lineage. It starts with a bench seat finished in
comfortable red leather. They took their time with the dash,
carpeting, shift boot, and custom door panels to make sure that all
of this coordinated quite nicely in shades of aggressive red. The
three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel feels great in your
hands, especially on the chrome tile column. Although, we also bet
your right hand won't be able to resist the Lokar shifter. The full
set of VDO gauges dominates the dash to keep you fully informed.
Even the trunk is fully finished with custom panels and an
artfully-mounted spare.
There was a ton invested in the engine bay with all the polished
components, including the valve covers, alternator, air topper, and
much more. Plus, we love the detail work, like how the plug wires
match the smooth red firewall. More than just look great, this is a
powerful 350 cubic-inch small block that's been upgraded with an
Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, performance intake, and headers
feeding the rumbling dual exhaust. But while you'll be proud to
show off this engine bay, they're going to have to get you off the
road first. That's because this is a true driver's classics. There
is a Mustang II-style front end and a Corvette-style rear giving
you a fully independent suspension. That's an attractive rarity
even on these modified Fords. Plus, you have rack & pinion power
steering, a three-speed automatic transmission, and four-wheel disc
brakes. So this street machine is truly built to take you
everywhere.
Nicely finished with all the right driver upgrades, this steel-body
Model A is an all-around stunner. So if you like driving your
classics as much as you enjoy showing them off, don't miss this
total package. Call now!
