Vehicle Description
An example of the traditional 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 that retains
the basic looks of the 50-year-old automobile, but was
custom-fabricated with no expense spared and many modern upgrades.
This Mach 1 is powered by a 408ci bored and stroked 351 V8 engine
with Forged Eagle dish pistons, Forged Eagle H-Beam rods and Forged
Eagle crank. The engine is also equipped with Air Flow Research 225
aluminum heads with race porting, 58cc combustion chamber, 220cc
intake, 80cc exhaust ports, Lunati high-efficiency hydraulic
camshaft, COMP Cams ultra-gold aluminum rocker arms, Edelbrock
Victor Jr with 9.5" deck aluminum intake, MSD Pro-Billet
distributor, Powermaster Ultra torque starter, March billet
serpentine pulleys, Hooker Super Comp headers, dual Flowmaster
Super 44 Series exhaust with 394 piping, and a Be Cool aluminum
radiator and electric cooling fan. Power is transmitted through a
Tremec TKO 600 5-speed manual transmission with overdrive,
hydraulic clutch, Quick Time RM-6060 steel bellhousing and a RAM
billet steel flywheel. This custom Mustang is also equipped with a
Ford 9" rear end with Strange Engineering 3.55 gears, Strange
Engineering 35-spline axles, and a Strange Engineering third
member. The Wilwood power 4-wheel disc brakes feature Street or
Track cross-drilled, slotted, zinc-washed and Cryo 92D rotors in
front and 1494 cross-drilled, slotted, zinc-washed and Cryo 92D
rotors in the rear, all with black powder-coated calipers. This
build included Mustang II front power rack & pinion steering,
400-pound spring rate, and Global West reverse-eye leaf spring with
2" drop, as well as 160-pound spring rate in the rear with QA1
Stocker Star shocks. It features CalTrac Grab-A-Trak 1-1/8 front
sway bar and Total Control Products subframe connectors. It rides
on Foose Injector Wheels with Nitto 555R tires in front and Mickey
Thompson street radial directional tires in back. This Mach 1 is
complete with custom interior and Vintage Air.
