Vehicle Description
This 1955 3100 truck has been beautifully completed and painted in
Triple Jet Black, with beautiful body lines. The body has been
modified with a chopped top and rake angle with a 6" drop in front
and 4" drop in the rear, shaved door handles and a power
retractable antenna. The front hood was dropped 1-1/2" to give an
aggressive look to the front of the truck. The rear of the truck
was widened 4" on each side and the bed floor was raised to
accommodate large drag radials on the rear wheels. The suspension
was upgraded with air ride on the rear (air over leaf), and
replaced with a 1990 Ford Aerostar cradle and suspension. Custom
A-arms for upper and lower and new front coil springs were
installed as well. It features a custom steering shaft with Ididit
chrome tilt steering column and Billet Specialties steering wheel.
This custom pickup is powered by a new 350ci small-block Chevrolet
engine equipped with short-block Hooker headers and MagnaFlow dual
exhaust pipes, backed by a Turbo 350 3-speed automatic transmission
with B&M hammer ratchet shifter. The truck is also equipped
with new power rack & pinion steering with a March pulley system,
polished aluminum water pump and pulleys, GM high-output cylinder
heads, high-rise intake manifold with 600 cfm Slayer Series
electric choke and Quick Fuel Technology carburetor. It has all-new
brakes, including new cylinder, lines, new front disc brakes and
new drum brakes in rear. The interior features recovered seats from
a 2002 Lincoln LS with power and lumbar in gray with orange
stitching, a new console with Pioneer sound system, all Dakota
Digital gauge cluster, new switches and new carpet.
