For Sale: 1962 Chevrolet Nova in San Antonio, Texas

Vehicle Description

Up for sale is my '62 Chevy II/ Nova SS Tribute. Under the hood is a fresh 383 Stroker motor backed up with a Tremec TKO 5- speed manual trans. To keep things cool there is a Champion aluminum radiator with a Flex-Lite fan. Fresh fluids run through the stainless steel radiator hoses. Chevy HEI distributor, HD plug wires and a fresh battery provide spark. An Edelbrock 650cfm 4- barrel carb topped with a Spectre air filter mounted to a Jegs aluminum intake provides juice. Spent gasses exit through Hooker Super Comp headers and Magnaflow exhaust. Finally, a Chevy 10 bolt 5 lug rear- end transfers all the power to the rear wheels. For style points the motor sports a chrome package that includes- water pump, fuel pump, T-stat housing, alternator bracket, pulleys, valve covers and shock towers. Most parts are new. Have receipts. 75K miles on body only. Everything else new or recent.

To keep everything in control the car sports a Church Boy's Racing suspension package including CBR tubular upper and lower control arms, CBR rack & pinion steering and Viking coil overs. Drilled and slotted disc brakes up front and drums in back take all the fun out of it.

Exterior wears a new PPG 2- stage copper and black paint scheme. The colors are separated by 2 silver stripes. The paint scheme was designed around black aftermarket rims but thought new owner should pick those out. ***UPDATE*** Torq Thrusters are on order along with new Toyo rubber. Will be installed end of August. New pix to follow. New Rally style mirrors are mounted on both doors.  New bumpers front and rear. All exterior lighting works as it should. Custom designed Rally stripes grace the top of the raised cowl hood and set it apart from the usual suspects. SS tribute badging garnished here and there.

A fresh interior has been installed that includes: carpet, Chevy II themed floor mats, arm rests, door panels, visors, rear view mirror, weather striping, tilt wheel, Grant steering wheel, Lokar pedal assembly combo, glove box, stereo (no speakers- prefer listening to the Magnaflows), new rear seat cover, headliner, sails, etc. Front leather bucket seats are from Mercedes and rest on new floor pans. The floors, doors, and rear deck area was treated with XX Fat Mat sound deadening. New Auto- Gage gauges keep up on engine status. Factory speedo and odometer are present and work. The gas gauge does not work. The trunk has a new floor pan on top and a new gas tank below. Fresh paint and weather striping round it out.

The authentic 1962 license plates are registered to the car and come with it. Recent state inspection and tags. Comes with clear blue Texas title in my name. All in all a very cool looking car that looks a little different than your typical first gen Chevy II. Although not a perfect show car, it's a nice driver that will get you noticed quick. The end result speaks for itself.
