Vehicle Description
The paint, four-speed, rumbling exhaust, and performance-built 427
big block V8 - this is a fully-built custom 1968 Chevrolet Camaro
that has all the right investments to be a mean midnight
machine.
You can tell there was a nice investment to get this black so
smooth. It has all the right modern gloss and shine to highlight
all those great first-gen F-body curves. It has all the right
aggressive touches for the classic SS-style appearance, including
the front air dam, cowl induction hood, and full-width ducktail
spoiler. But there's also a lot more that's catching your eye.
There was a solid investment in the brightwork so it's shining on
everything from the mirror-like chrome bumpers, to the delicate
trim that seems to be in all the right places. Plus, those solid
Centerline wheels add to the brightness while also drawing your
attention the ultra-wide rear rubber.
Step inside and this Camaro provides a nice blend of premium and
performance. It starts with a custom set of bucket seats that offer
modern side bolstering, large headrests, and full leg support. You
get nice classic elements like the factory gauges and center
console with wood-like trim. But you can also instantly tell this
is far from a stock machine. The Grant GT sports steering wheel,
Hurst shifter, Auto Meter Sport-Comp quad auxiliary gauge package,
and the large column-mounted tach all tell your senses this is a
powerful machine even before you twist the key and hear it
rumble.
Under the hood this V8 is clean and mean. Chevy's 427 cubic-inch
big block is already famous for creating serious power, and this
one enhances that further with a ton of performance upgrades. It
includes Holley four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock Torker 2 intake,
MSD distributor, and a set of long tube headers that feed the
thunderous dual exhaust. And best of all, the Muncie M21
close-ratio four-speed manual transmission means you dial in your
level of performance with a quick downshift. Backing up this big
power package are all the right components. That means a stout Ford
9-inch rear getting the power to the ground. And up front you have
power steering and disc brakes.
Complete with build receipts and title documentation, this is the
slick and speedy total package you've been waiting for. So don't
let this classic Camaro slip away, call today!
