UPDATE: 2/26/19. Car is up and running great. Was towed to mechanic. Coil was not working and vacuum fuel cylinder needed work. Starts up quick, and idles on own. Towed home and just waiting for a buyer now!

1920 Dodge Brothers 4 Door Touring Car.
Phaeton. A luxury vintage touring car.

Current title/registration in our name.
Electric start & crank.
All steel body.
High clearance & big tires.
Wooden wheels. Appear straight.
3 speed manual transmission.
Gas tank is in the back of the car.
2 license plates (1920 Colorado Guest plate & Horseless Carriage plate)
Convertible. Has frame attached but no cloth top.
4 cyl. Engine
Flare horn. Working horn. Horn button mounted on the drivers door.
Oil can. Mounted near motor
Original headlamps. Glass has a lavender hue. (Manganese was used to clear up the glass but it was found to eventually turn the glass purple.)
Dash: amp meter, oil meter
Emergency/ parking brake.
Wooden steering wheel.
2 controls on steering wheel column.
* One is idol control. Can be set to maintain idol (vintage cruise control!)
* Other is manual spark advance control.
Rear wheel mechanical drum brakes
12 volt battery.
Battery mounted under front floorboard.
Inner tube tires.
Starts right up. Tail pipe is missing. See pic.
Starts up with crank too. 3/4 of a turn and it starts!
Runs and appeared to drive well.
**Ok, here’s some history and everything we personally know about the vehicle:
Vehicle driven in parking lot from auction house to flat bed tow truck. Driven off tow truck when arrived at our home in the mountains. Started right up both times. Also started with crank.
Oil changed. Fluids checked. Taken for short ride around neighborhood. Parked in garage where it is currently.
Took it out of garage to warm up engine. Ran for approx. 5 mins and died suddenly.
2/2019 Sent to mechanic and now running smooth. See video.
3/2019: I have a long video of car running (approx. 4 mins), and chat with mechanic who did the recent work... but unable to download large file onto YouTube for ad. I could try to send it another way to interested parties.
Health issues forced current sale. We know little if any information about car. What you see is what we bought. No additional parts, manuals, etc. We do not know if parts are missing, besides the obvious as show in pics (convertible top, etc).
Please be specific in your questions about the car and we will try to answer them to the best of our ability. We are not in the business of buying or selling cars of any kind.
This was a project that unfortunately never happened.
