Vehicle Description
This 1973 Ford F250 Ranger XLT is a real Highboy. It is very
original and very clean and came from out West in the State of
Washington. The XLT Ranger has all of the chrome moldings and is
very desirable. The body on this truck is very clean and appears to
have all of its original body panels. It was repainted once in its
original color of Raven Black and the paint looks very nice. They
added a nice Retro Warn 8,000# Winch on the front with in cab
controls. This truck looks very cool with this setup. The Interior
is pretty original with the exception of a new rubber floor mat and
some aftermarket gauges. The seat is mostly original except for a
repair where you slide in.
The engine is a rebuilt 390 V8 and it runs excellent!! They added
an Aluminum Edelbrock Intake, Edelbrock carb, electronic Ignition,
Ceramic Coated Headers, Dual Exhaust, and Dual Batteries. This
truck has Power Steering, Power Brakes, NP435 4 Speed manual
Transmission, Divorced NP205 Transfer Case, Dana 60 Kingpin Front
Axle with 4.10 Gears, Limited Slip Dana 60 Rear Axle with 4.10
Gears and the rear axle was recently rebuilt with new bearings and
seals. This truck is very sound mechanically and rides on newer BFG
Mud terrains.
I was very impressed with how nice this truck drives and runs. It
ran down the road awesome and tracked straight. It was a pleasure
to drive. We pride ourselves in locating vehicles we would want in
our own personal collection. We hand pick each vehicle, drive it,
and make sure it is ready for you to enjoy! We drive what we sell
so that we can give you a first hand and accurate report on how the
vehicle runs and drives.
