Presented here is our 1947 Ford Custom Coupe which has been nicely done. The Coupe has been outfitted with a smooth-running 350 cubic inch Chevrolet engine, with a Holley 4-barrel carb sitting on top, and dual exhaust to give the ’47 that solid V8 sound. The 350 is matched with the Turbo 350 automatic transmission.
The 1947 Ford Custom Coupe was a Texas car. The black paint has an outstanding shine and the bodywork underneath is straight and looks great from any angle. The black velour interior is a nice look for the ’47 and makes the bucket seats that it has been outfitted with, adds to the modern-day look.
This is one custom that doesn't drive like an antique with its springs removed. There is a modern set of parts underneath, starting with a smooth-running 350 cubic inch Chevrolet V8, with a 4-barrel Holley carb, Chevy Orange paint on the block. The upgrades to the Ford can be seen here, the added air conditioning, power steering and power brakes. The transmission is a TH350 3-speed automatic so don't be afraid to hit the road with this cool custom. The undercarriage is clean, and you can see evidence of the Car’s Texas history, from the solid floors to the original frame that are still very solid. A custom dual exhaust system with Super Turbo mufflers gives it a fantastic V8 sound that settles down nicely when you just want to cruise. The ‘47 rides and handles beautifully, with a big car luxury ride that you'll appreciate when you're on the road. Recent 195 40 R15 radials fit neatly in the fenders and are finished with KMC Chrome wheels.
