Vehicle Description
The Austin-Healey 3000 MKIII BJ8 sports convertible was the final
variation of a long line of Big Healey sports cars starting with
the 100-4 model from 1953. The MKIII was produced from 1964 to 1967
and was arguably the fastest, most comfortable and nicest riding
model of all Healeys. This late Grand-Touring Big Healey has
completed a no-expense-spared, ground-up, nut and bolt, body-off,
100-point, rotisserie restoration by premier marque specialist,
Kurt Tanner Restorations. All work and detailing has been carried
out to the highest Austin-Healey Gold Concours standards. Finished
in the rare and spectacular factory color scheme of Metallic Golden
Beige with red trim, this 3000 MKIII also boasts chrome/stainless
60spoke wire wheels, heater, adjustable steering wheel, 4-speed
overdrive transmission, BMIHT Certificate and a photo album
documenting the complete, professional rebuild. Upon close
inspection, this restoration speaks for itself.
