Vehicle Description
1971 Volkswagen Bus/Camper Westfalia. In great shape overall; drove
to Dana Point to camp on the beach this last March with zero issues
and I'm confident taking it out of town right now. Complete
Westfalia Camper outfit, minus canvas on pop top; was rotted out
and I have not replaced it yet. Front seats aren't in great shape,
specifically the passenger seat. Back seats are in perfect shape
save one tear at the front of the bench seat. Has Z-bed, cabinets,
and icebox. Have original handpump for sink but no longer pulls
water, haven't looked into replacing the seal but I have an
aftermarket that I can install. Rebuilt 1600 Dual Port engine from
a builder on craigslist was installed 3 years ago, it does leak a
bit of oil but I'm not sure where it's from, doesn't bother me, I
just check it often. Have about 10,000 miles on the rebuilt engine
and it runs very strong, cruise at 65-70 no problem at all. Has
never overheated on me with the rebuilt engine and I camp up north
here and there. Includes original mosquito net for rear hatch, and
original spare tire cover, as well as original jack. All locks work
with the same key; have original key as well. Tires only have
probably 5000 miles on them and I have the discount tire paperwork.
Years of life left on them. Has original AM radio, as well as an
auxiliary stereo mounted beside the driver seat with separate
overhead speakers. As you can tell, it is spray painted white, and
it was originally off white. Paint job doesn't look great, but it
didn't look great beforehand either. There are two chips in the
windshield that are sealed. -Vehicle is on consignment and at our
