The El Dorado name plate was used on the top of the line Cadillacs
for the first couple of generations. Starting in 1971 the Eldorado
would take on its 7th rendition and became what most people
recognize as a Cadillac. Big Comfortable, and just more of everting
in general was the new Cadillac. It had grown to an astonishing
19ft in length, and looking even longer with custom skirts added!
In 1976 GM heavily promoted the Eldorado as the last American
convertible making many purchase them as investments. This one is a
very good example of that with the car having great body lines
along with an engine freshly rebuilt just under 5,000 miles ago.
The burgundy paint looks just as great in the dark as it does the
sunlight. Pop the hood and the monstrous 500 CI V8 looks right at
home and even has room to spare. The interior is exactly what you
can expect from Cadillac, BIG, comfortable, and full of luxuries.
You will enjoy cruising this classic no matter where you decide to
