Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is honored to have this
breathtaking 1956 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz for sale right now in
our Arizona showroom. In its day, this car had a very commanding
presence. It truly was "The Standard Of The World". It still does
that today. Costing nearly $7,000 ($64,000 in today's money) when
new, Cadillac sold an impressive 2,150 examples that year. For
1956, the Eldorado was now available as a two door hardtop
(Seville) or a convertible (Biarritz). All were powered by the 365
CID Cadillac V8 that produced 305 HP utilizing two four barrel
Carter carbs. The power was transmitted to the rear axle through a
Hydamatic four speed automatic to swiftly move this 5,000-plus
pound luxury droptop along America's new Interstate highway system
or anywhere else it could be driven. Spanning 129" wheelbase on 15"
wheels, these cars truly were unique in their appearance,
performance, and opulence. This beauty left Cadillac's assembly
plant painted a stunning Starlight Silver with a black top. A
matching silver parade boot is stored in the trunk should you
decide to use it. The luxuriously-appointed green and white leather
interior complements the exterior color beautifully. A car cover is
also included and will help protect this iconic American luxury car
when not in use. Please call our helpful and knowledgeable sales
