Now available in our DFW-Showroom is this 1949 Chevrolet 3600
Pick-Up Truck! This vehicle is part of Chevrolet's Advance-Design
series. Advance-Design was a truck series by Chevrolet, their first
major redesign after WWII. It was billed as a larger, stronger, and
sleeker design in comparison to the earlier AK Series. First
available on Saturday June 28, 1947, these trucks were sold with
various minor changes over the years until March 25, 1955, when the
Task Force Series trucks replaced the aging Advance-Design model.
This Truck although simplistic, really stands out in a crowd and is
great vehicle to either take a cruise in or haul around to local
car-shows. It's powered by a rebuilt 235 Thriftmaster engine, which
provides around 150 HP and a 4-speed manual transmission. This
Truck also has a beautifully laid wooden bed and matching
side-rails, which most are sure to compliment. The interior has
been re-done and completed approximately 2.5-3 years ago, to a
period correct set-up. The dash appears to be left original, with
untouched gauges and even an AM only radio. All this sets on a
shiny set of Chevrolet hub-caps and comes with a full-size spare on
the side. To view this vehicle in greater detail including 100+ HD
